Trump Just Gave Every Social Security Recipient Some Very Good News

President Donald J. Trump did not hold back on promises he made to the American people during his 2016 presidential campaign. Trump spoke directly to all of the Americans that had been completely neglected for 8 whole years under the leadership of former President Barack Hussein Obama.

The president has been more than ready to keep true to his words as the prototypes for the border wall are being constructed, and Trump is working with many companies to bring back countless jobs, while making sure the stock market is surging, and unemployment is lowered.

Now President Trump is making good on another incredible promise, as the Social Security Administration made an announcement to increase benefits.

On Friday, the Social Security Administration announced that benefits for more than 66 million Americans will increase by 2% in 2018, and the 2 percent cost-of-living adjustment increase will mark the largest increase in benefits since 2012.

The average beneficiary will see an increase of $25 per month, or $300 per year, with the average Social Security beneficiary receiving about $15,000 a year, or $1,258 a month.

While this may not seem like a lot of money for some people, to many retired people this would be a big relief. We The People are hoping this bump will also signal a change in priority in the government – since the people who supported this country for years through their hard work, dedication and effort deserve so much more, but slowly, they will get it.
